Core Chapter Aims
Chapters do this in 2 ways:
Health EDU has an evidence-based curriculum for high school, undergraduate/college, and graduate/medical school levels. We provide all teaching materials and facilitator guides.
High school chapters must have a trained Peer Educator in order to teach this curriculum.
Undergraduate chapters and graduate/medical school chapters are welcome to participat in our training resources but are not required to.
Health EDU chapters host advocacy events and discussions on topics such as trauma-informed care, homeless health, reproductive and sexual health, preventative care, and other stigmatized health topics.

Goal 2: Serve Your Local Community
Your chapter will partner with local shelters, schools, clinics, or community organizations to deliver health education and resources. We support chapters in identifying community partners and developing sustainable outreach programs.
Chapters may lead workshops on reproductive health, puberty and menstruation, wellness, and preventive care, while also helping distribute menstrual products, safer sex kits, and referrals to medical services.
Our chapters advance health equity through two core pillars: campus education and community partnership.

Motivated students enrolled in a high school, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States may apply to become a Chapter Founder.

What kind of support will I receive as a Chapter Founder?
Fill out our Interest Form. Our leadership team will reach out to you to schedule an interview and onboarding.
All Chapter Founders receive structured onboarding, leadership training, and ongoing mentorship from Health EDU’s leadership team. This includes regular check-ins, access to updated materials, guidance on community partnerships, and support with program planning.
No. All chapters use standardized, evidence-based curricula developed by Health EDU. We provide facilitator guides, slide decks, training modules, and educational handouts.
If you are passionate about creating materials outside of our core curriculum, we are happy to work with you.
No. You do not need existing partnerships to apply. Health EDU will help you identify, contact, and establish relationships with appropriate community organizations in your area.
