Advocacy Programming Ideas
Health EDU clubs and regional chapters run advocacy campaigns throughout the year — from testifying to school boards to social media awareness campaigns. See what our students are doing and get inspired.
These are just ideas! If you do something that you want us to highlight on this website, please email maya@healthedu.org.
We have hosted 5K walk/runs at Stanford to raise money for public health causes.
In February, we hosted a Valentine's Day/Galentine's Day run and asked people to bring period products or donate $15
In May, we hosted a Miles for Mental Health run and asked people to donate $15 for the Black Girls Mental Health Foundation in Oakland.
Organizing a 5K is a lot of work, but a great way to bring people together around a social cause.
